SVSHIP Research Week 2023

Come to 1 event, or 3, or 4 – or more! Our program provides a smorgasbord of exciting opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate the fascinating depth and breadth of research happening across our Precinct. Check out the events page to decide how you’re going to get the most out of Research Week 2023!

The St Vincent’s Sydney Health Innovation Precinct (SVSHIP) Research Week 2023 is building on over 30 years of history. We will be showcasing the breadth and depth of the exciting research that’s happening across SVSHIP.

With the Precinct’s cornerstone partners of St Vincent’s Sydney, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, along with university partners including UNSW Sydney, Notre Dame and ACU, and other collaborators like the Nursing Research Institute and the Kirby Institute, we’re in for a treat!

Come along and hear about the latest breakthroughs in everything from cutting edge molecular science to patient care, as well as having many opportunities to take part in workshops and an array of skills development activities, to meet more of your peers, and even form new collaborations. As well as enjoying lots of delicious catering and plenty of opportunities to win prizes.

How can I take part?

We are changing things up a little this year – but making sure there are still lots of opportunities for researchers to showcase their work. We are moving to in-person only for most events to help foster an environment for more interactions.

See our Events Schedule for full details.
